3.9 / 5 stars (44 reviews) - Lenovo finally got it rightReview date: September 3, 2018 | Model: Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga 20FQ000QUS
Finally - they made the portable computer I've been looking for. The quick overview: perfect weight.. perfect functionality... good battery life ... great screen resolution ... the best laptop keyboard I've used ... and a bunch of bonus features that make it just that much better... P.S. I opted not to get the new OLED version - great decision. Saved $700... but more importantly this 2550 LCD screen display is spectacular with the added bonus of an anti-glare coating. I hate seeing my reflection in the screen while working. The anti-glare fixes that. Also, in my research I read somewhere that OLED can deteriorate and become less brilliant over time. Don't know if it's significant or even if it's true - it just means it's an expensive risk for a pretty new technology. Believe me, unless your comparing the 2 screens side by side, you'll never know the difference.Reviewed on: Brad | Read Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga reviews...

Review date: September 3, 2018 | Model: Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga 3rd Gen
The 3rd-gen ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a great addition to Lenovo’s expansive X1 lineup, offering many of the great features from the X1 Carbon, but with a flexible display and dedicated stylus. For users who seek the style and performance of the X1 Carbon, but with tablet-like functionality added into the mix, the X1 Yoga is a great option.

With a wide array of ports that includes two Thunderbolt 3 connectors, a snappy keyboard, colorful display and more than 12 hours of endurance, the ThinkPad X1 Yoga would make a great business laptop, even if it weren't a 2-in-1. When you consider its helpful stylus and innovative keyboard-retracting mechanism, Lenovo's laptop is even more compelling. If you're looking for an even-lighter 2-in-1, check out the 13-inch HP EliteBook x360, which weighs 0.4 pounds less, offers a faster SSD and has a unibody, aluminum chassis that many people will find more attractive. However, if you want a first-class business convertible with great portability, flexibility and endurance, the ThinkPad X1 Yoga should be at the top of your shopping list.

In the end, the verdict is what any ThinkPad fan might expect. The X1 Yoga’s strong performance, great keyboard, quality touchpad, and broad range of ports make it a great laptop for work. There are areas where competitors have the edge, such as display contrast ratio, but the X1 Yoga is one of the few 2-in-1 devices that can truly handle rigorous day-to-day use. There’s on final fact to note. Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Carbon is basically identical to the X1 Yoga, aside from the 360-degree hinge and lift-and-lock keyboard that makes the Yoga model unique. If you don’t care about tablet use, but you do like the idea of a powerful, thin, 14-inch system, going with the X1 Carbon will save you about $200. Whichever you choose, you’ll end up with a system built for serious productivity.

The ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a versatile business 2-in-1 that will last all day and give you plenty of power to be productive.
