4.3 / 5 stars (98 reviews) - Great overall laptop!
Latest review: January 30, 2019 | Model: Dell XPS 15 9575 XPS9575-7354BLK-PUS
I normally don't do reviews for items, but seeing that this laptop only has 3.3 stars at the moment is not right, in my opinion. Some people have complained about the fan noise, but this has been addressed with a BIOS update. After the update, fan noise is far far less than before. Another review I saw was the battery life is only 6 hours... The design and build quality of this laptop is also top notch. Hinges are very sturdy, carbon fiber is really nice to rest palms on, and the infinity edge screen looks remarkable. I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone that needs some power to run some intensive applications but doesn't want a bulky computer. Overall 5/5.

Latest review: November 5, 2018 | Model: Dell XPS 15 9575
first, the notebook looks pretty clean. I am satisfied on this aspect. According to the warranty sticker, the one i received was a one year old item. In the package i received, i couldn't find the pen. I feedback to the seller and the seller sent me one. According to item description " ... Dell Premium Active Pen that delivers precise pressure sensitivity, tilt functionality for detail shading ..." is supposed to be included in the deal. The pen I received is definitely not a premium one with tilt functionality. It is ok with basic tasks but is not designed to specifically work with 9575 model. anyway at the end of the day, I bought the real premium pen for 9575 from another seller. Overall, I am still pretty happy with my purchase (though i must admit it could have been better).

As we said earlier, we’re just sad that we’re basically done with Kaby Lake G laptop reviews after having reviewing both of them. But, it is good to end on a high note. On the negative side, we’ll admit that we weren’t fans of the MagLev keyboard, nor the all USB-C port decision. Beside the fact that it feeds trolls who can now claim that Apple was right, we’d still prefer to have straight USB Type A on a laptop rather than have another dongle to lose. The MagLev keyboard? Well, you get used to it, and the snappy sound and feel is tolerable. What’s really nice and, frankly, quite possibly worth it is the performance. The XPS 15 2-in-1 is a screamer that gives Core i7 Kaby Lake H laptops a hard time, and it simply smokes just about every 15-inch 2-in-1 design we’ve seen to date.

If you've been looking for a Windows alternative to the 15-inch MacBook Pro, Dell's XPS 15 is your best bet -- and I'd argue your only suitable one. It's powerful and thin and light for what it is, with a comfortable keyboard and a lovely 4K, color-accurate screen option. My only real disappointment is that the battery life is rather short -- not a surprise with a 4K display, but still a shame. If you think you'll usually be within range of a power outlet -- or are willing to spend $120 on the optional mobile charger -- you should be quite happy indeed.

Perhaps not this particular model, with its sluggish 5,400rpm hard disk. Instead, you should opt for one of the £1,149 machines, which comes equipped with a PCI Express-based SSD, or at the very least a model that also has a 32GB SSD cache. In return, system response, loading times and the general feel of Windows 10 will be far more sprightly. You should also note that in terms of bang-for-buck, this machine isn't the best value laptop out there. Dell’s own Inspiron 15 is far cheaper with a similar specification, but it's heavier and a less desirable machine as a result. If build quality and portability are your primary concerns, though, the XPS 15 is a fantastic buy. It’s not cheap, but the XPS 15 looks great, feels fantastic and performs like a champion. Dell has produced the ultimate Windows 10 laptop. Apple should look over its shoulder.
