1.0 / 5 stars (1 review) - DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER
Latest review: June 25, 2018 | Model: Dell Precision 15 7520 PRM7520WYDRD
Shipped with a version of Windows 10 known to corrupt installed drivers. Just over a week old, entered an endless blue screen loop and became unusable. Hours spent with Dell ::PAID:: tech support. On the fifth call, they suggested that I do a fresh install of Windows 10 and the latest Windows 10 update. This, of course, required another day and a half of initial set up, to discover that the latest Windows 10 update ... corrupts the installed drivers and causes the machine to cease working... I have lost a month's worth of working time due to this machine that was spec'd and ordered to increase my work productivity. My paid Dell warranty is less effective than putting a request in my church's prayer box. The upgraded video card is incapable of handling more than a single external monitor. DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER. Probably best if you scrubbed the "Dell" name from your vocabulary.

The Dell Precision 7510 is a laptop for getting work done and banging out documents and spreadsheets. It's also highly customizable, so it can fit your needs, whether they're low enough for a Core i5 CPU or so demanding that you want a Xeon processor. Unfortunately, its default screen is dull and its weight makes it a burden to carry around (a drawback you can't avoid in workstation notebooks). If you don't require the optional Xeon processor or Quadro graphics on your laptop, you should strongly consider the $1,295 Lenovo ThinkPad T560, which features a vibrant display and lasts more than 21 hours on a charge. If you're looking for a well-performing business notebook that can also game and blast some tunes, the Precision 7510 is a solid choice, especially if you configure it with a workstation processor.

Anyways.. I was very excited to get this thing working so I just wanted to share. Best laptop I think I'll own for a long time to come. Best thing about the 4k monitor is it's Matted, no more glare. I'm THAT GUY who installed linux on his macbook pro 2014, and hated every minute of it. This is amazing... Speed is superb though. I love this laptop.
