4.0 / 5 stars (13 reviews) - You're not going to get anything better than this!
Latest review: June 8, 2018 | Model: Dell Latitude 5285
This is an excellent PC. Once you have it, you'll be blown away from the ruggedness, quality and specs. I bought it on sale for 900 bucks and it doesn't disappoint. With a first class video card, 16GB of ram, 512gb SSD HDD, and the I7 processor, this is the best options you can buy and its portable! The Keyboard is great and finally you have Dell support for the customer service options (they are great!). ITs an unbeatable package at this price! If you compare it to the Microsoft Surface Pro, They are comparable with one difference, the I7 my son bought gets VERY HOT, he had to return the Surface Pro and instead use the I3. This has no such problems.Reviewed by: red2play | Read Dell Latitude 5285 reviews...
4 / 5 stars - The Dell Latitude 5290 2-in-1 has a cool auto-deploying kickstand and long battery life. But its speakers are poor, and it costs too much to come with so little storage.

The Dell Latitude 5290 2-in-1 is a solid Surface clone for business, with long battery life and a cool auto-deploying kickstand. I just wish it came with more storage by default and had better speakers. Even with the cool stand, though, it's not as artfully designed as the Microsoft Surface Pro. And if you want the latest processor, you'll need to wait for that one to be refreshed. If you prefer a convertible 2-in-1 to a detachable, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga is the way to go. Its battery life is the same, and while its screen isn't as bright, it shows off more color. But if you need a portable tablet with a keyboard and lots of security features for business, the Dell Latitude 5290 2-in-1 is a good choice.Reviewed by: Andrew E. Freedman | Read full review...
84% - Dell has created a good convertible: its long battery runtime is particularly captivating. But it is not easy to keep up in this highly competitive market, and Dell did make some mistakes. Review date: May 19, 2017 | Model: Dell Latitude 12 5289
Choosing a business convertible is not easy. After all the ThinkPad Yoga 370 and the EliteBook x360 alone are two good alternatives. With the Latitude 5289, Dell has contributed an interesting competitor. The biggest advantage of today's test unit: its battery runtime. Thanks to low energy consumption and a very large battery, the Latitude is the best device in this area. The robust case and comfortable keyboard are also worth considering. The Latitude 5289's cooling fan remains quiet thanks to its ULV CPU. The selection of ports is suitable for a business device, which brings us to the negative aspects... The Latitude 5289 is definitely not a bad convertible. If you are looking for a convertible notebook with the longest possible battery runtime, then this could even be a recommendable choice. However, the alternatives - ThinkPad Yoga 370 and EliteBook x360 - equally have their strong points. The entry-level model of the Latitude costs less, but you also get a worse configuration with only 4 GB of soldered-on working memory. Overall, the Latitude has a hard time asserting itself against its competitors. It could beat them with a better 13.3-inch display and an improved touchpad. Instead, it remains in third place despite its great battery runtime, particularly because both Lenovo's and HP's models offer good battery runtimes as well.Reviewed by: Benjamin Herzig | Read full review...
