5.0 / 5 stars (9 reviews) - Great 2-in-1
Latest review: March 21, 2019 | Model: Dell Inspiron 15 7586 I7586-5045SLV-PUS
Got this for my daughter - she loves it. Easily goes from Laptop to Tablet. The included 8GB of RAM combined with the Intel i5 gives this thing plenty of power, add in the SATA drive and it is very fast and responsive. The screen is bright and vibrant! All in all an excellent machine!

The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is the least expensive way I've seen to get this level of gaming performance in a laptop. But, that doesn't mean it's automatically the best bang for your buck. Investing a bit more will get you a laptop with a better display (a real issue here), a bigger hard drive and maybe a better overall design... Both are tempting, and probably better long-term investments. But, if you can't break that $1,000 barrier, this is a lot of gaming laptop for not a lot of money, and it gets an enthusiastic, but qualified, recommendation.

One thing no one seems to mention is that the touchpad on his laptop is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE for a gaming laptop. You can't left and right click at the same time. The touchpad is sensitive on the buttons so that the act of simply clicking the button may move your cursor/aim. If you want to zoom in with your bow in Skyrim, you shouldn't have to change the default key configuration. Only buy this if you are planning on buying a mouse NOT made by Dell!

A gaming notebook for everyday life. Dell's new Inspiron 15 of the 7000 series proved that it has a right to exist in the gaming-notebook world. First of all, it has a well-made case, which allows end-user maintenance. However, there are only a few interfaces for a 15-inch notebook. In addition, the performance of the SD-card reader is poor. In return, the manufacturer has incorporated acceptable input devices. The keyboard even features a backlight and a number block and is splash-proof. However, we did not like the small arrow keys, which are especially inconvenient in racing games. The only real disappointment of the Inspiron 15 is the Full HD TN panel, which not only has very narrow viewing angles but is also very bluish. Dell should at least offer customers an IPS display option... Those who are put off by the display should consider the more expensive UHD variant. It remains to be seen whether the German models of the Inspiron 15 will use IPS panels. Nevertheless, the competitors should not be neglected. Those who wish for even higher gaming performance and an IPS panel should take a look at the Asus ROG Strix GL502VM.
