3.9 / 5 stars (479 reviews) Amazon's Choice - An unreasonably fast laptop for a reasonable price.

I'm not going to post a super long review, just what I cared about, what this laptop is, and what it isnt... Overall, I am happy with this having spent $1200. I would not pay a cent more, but most laptops in this tier DO cost 1400+. If you want something to play games on the go, are cheap, but demand decent quality, there is your go-to laptop.

Let me start by saying this laptop is amazing I love almost everything about it. There is one issue that heavy users will have to deal with. There is a work around and once you understand the issue you can take steps to avoid it. I do not think this is a unique issue to this laptop and many others in its class have the same issue and wish these company's would address it... This laptop is amazing but you will have to deal and work around this issue. The power supply for this laptop is to small for its power draw. Acer does sell a power-supply that is 330W and I contacted them to see if they could take my 230W power-supply and exchange it for the 330W and I would pay the difference but they declined this offer and I will have to pay $89 plus tax and shipping for the 330W. Its really disappointing that a almost $2000 gaming laptop doesn't come with an adequate power-supply.

Overall it’s hard to complain much about the Acer Predator Helios 300. Sure, the battery could be larger, but then it would be heavier and bigger too. With its friendly upgrade paths, top-notch CPU and GPU, and hard-to-beat price of $1,100, there’s a good reason why the Predator Helios 300 has long been the bestselling gaming laptop on Amazon.
