4.2 / 5 stars (110 reviews) - Great entry-level computer.
Latest review: February 1, 2019 | Model: Acer Aspire TC-885-ACCFLi5
So, to get this out of the way - this is NOT a gaming computer (more on that later)... The only thing that you may want to improve in this system is popping in a 2.5" Solid State Disk. Even a 120GB drive for the operating system to boot off would make a WORLD of difference, as the spinning Toshiba hard drive in here is a bottleneck for the rest of the speedy system. For the price point this computer hits, though, I don't hold this against Acer. Overall, this is a great value for money, and earns a high recommendation from me. 5 stars out of 5. A great multi-purpose work system.

The Acer Aspire ATC-605-UB11 budget desktop has enough features to keep basic PC users satisfied, throws in Wi-Fi capability, and offers enough expansion room for future upgrades... The Acer Aspire ATC-605-UB11 is a great choice for a desktop under $600, especially if you want the option to upgrade in your PC in the future. It has 2GB less memory than the Gateway DX4885-UR2D, but the Acer model's included 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi more than makes up for that. On just about all the other factors, the two desktops are effectively equals, but the Wi-Fi means that you can put the ATC-605-UB11 in any room in your home with a Wi-Fi signal. The Gateway DX4885-UR2D is limited to the room that has your broadband router. That flexibility helps make the Acer Aspire ATC-605-UB11 our Editors' Choice.

The Acer Aspire ATC-605-UR51 budget desktop has some of the best feature to keep basic PC users satisfied, throws in a Core i5 processor, roomier 2TB storage, Wi-Fi capability and enough room for future expansion... The Acer Aspire ATC-605-UR51 Desktop is an ideal mainstream entertainment PC but is equally a great option for work or school use with stellar functionality and modern design-it will look good in any room. While it isn’t the flashiest system available, it’s nevertheless a good value thanks to its reasonable price tag, USB 3.0 support, and spacious 2TB hard drive. However, users looking for greater processing power should first check out the Dell XPS 8700 Desktop, whose robust Core i7 processor, extra RAM, and larger hard drive justify its costlier price tag. Or even our Editors Choice in the category the ASUS M32CD with an affordable sticker price. That said, there’s still plenty to like about the Aspire ATC-605-UR51, and it’s certainly worthy of consideration.
